Hi, I’m Caroline!
I couldn’t live without the reminder app on my phone or my ice headache cap (fellow chronic migraine sufferers, I see you!), and I will always have my Kindle on hand. I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 3 pets, and friends. I recharge through spending time outdoors, cozied up with a good book, or taking long, guilt-free naps.
I work with women and couples who are trying to rewrite their stories— people who are tired of carrying the weight of old wounds and patterns. While all of our experiences are different, I too have gone through the difficult therapy journey of healing from trauma and ripple effects it can have. I know what’s it like to feel not enough and simultaneously feel like i’m too much. My spouse and I entered into our marriage with our own baggage and had to do the hard, beautiful work (individually and together) to create something new. Through my personal experiences and education, I have learned along the way just how connected our bodies and brains are and how important it is to integrate both when it comes to healing. I can tell you this, the journey can be hard and painful at times, but freedom is worth it. Your past self is so thankful that you're taking the time to go through this process. Your future self is living life to the fullest, and beyond proud of the work you put into yourself.
I am a Licensed Associate Clinical Social Worker (LSWAIC) with training in trauma-informed and attachment-based care, and I currently offer virtual therapy for clients in Washington State. I have experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges: intimate partner violence, perinatal and postpartum transitions, and substance use in both inpatient and court-mandated settings. I’ve worked under the VA with Veterans and their partners, helping them navigate PTSD, combat stress, and military sexual trauma. Across all of these spaces, I’ve witnessed a shared human need for love, acceptance, and belonging. Needs that may not have been met growing up, but are still entirely possible to cultivate now.
